Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is a commercial airport located about 7 miles (11 km) west of downtown in Wichita, Kansas, United States. It is the largest and busiest airport in the state of Kansas.

The airport is commonly referred to as Eisenhower National Airport although most locals call it Wichita Airport.

The airport was previously Wichita Mid-Continent Airport. The name was changed on March 31, 2015 by the city of Wichita . 

The airport reports it set a passenger traffic record in 2017 with a total of 1,620,240 passengers arriving and departing. This broke the airport's previous record set in 2008 with 1,619,075 total passengers. 

Wichita is know as the Air Capital of the World employing over 32,000 people in Kansas. These skilled workers can be found at Cessna, Learjet, Textron, Beechcraft, Airbus, Spirit Aero systems and over 350 aviation suppliers and service providers.
